Just watched this for the first time - loved it! The actors don't look particularly like their royal counterparts, but my God the writers nailed it with the dialogue. Not seen anything this funny since Spitting Image.

Fergie is in Ep 2 as well! I love Bea - the actress does a great job at vocal fry, we were stitches trying to copy her.

its a brillaint programme. Very underrated imo.

I'm not sure I can believe that it was filmed before Megxit. It was just so bang on the money with the plot!

I wonder if they kind of retro-filmed it the same way they do for Eastenders / Corrie if there's some big event that needs referencing. TBH I felt that some of the script was a bit rushed and shoehorned, but it's still bloody funny. Makes ironing a far more enjoyable chore!

Also they referenced the Prince Andrew interview (Pizza Express etc) which only happened mid-November so they've worked very fast to get it aired so soon after.

Watched this for the first time yesterday and I'm hooked!

Some of the cast members are also in Stath Lets Flats which is also hilarious and worth a watch. Carol to Fergie is quite a transformation and Princess Anne is Jericha from the Joan and Jericha podcasts. Love em all!

Yes, 'Puppah' is Pippa Middleton. Harry - who is an on/off target for her schemes - pronounces her name as 'Puppah'. She's a hoot!

I agree - the way she noiselessly glides across the floor, and is at one end of the room one moment, and the other end the next, scaring the bejabers out of everyone.

The characters are so well-drawn - it's brilliant. Absolutely love the DofE's letters, full of salty profanity, and Prince Edward taking on window-cleaning jobs etc.
