So at work and we've been discussing 1980's tv cartoons and programmes, think dungeons and dragons, round the twist, raccoons etc! Fun memories. BUT there's a program I can't get, it was about a little girl, may have been an Australian, I think her name began with an "M" and she was about 7/8 with a fringe I'm sure. I can't get it, can anyone help as it's annoying me so much😂

I think more info might be needed!

lardass88 · 25/02/2020 16:50

Did she have a kangaroo?

Cherry111 · 25/02/2020 19:27

I don't remember a kangaroo lol. I can't think of any more info, I can just see her face! I'm sorry, it's useless I know. Maybe from around 1988/89 it's driving me insane

Madeleine? If so she was French not Australian!

Cary2012 · 25/02/2020 19:38

It wasn't Angelica from the Rugrats was it? Not Australian, but fringe!

Pinkywoo · 25/02/2020 19:39

She had a fringe too.

Was it Rainbow Brite?

ChibiTotoro · 25/02/2020 19:44

Was it Ramona? It's a Canadian series apparently, but the rest of your description fits.

Lowhum · 25/02/2020 20:02

What was the name of the kangaroo programme? I used to watch that too but I can’t remember the name of it either!

Cherry111 · 25/02/2020 20:06

Chibi you absolute star! It was Ramona, thank god, I can sleep tonight now. Thank you!!

I looooooved Ramona! I read the books too.

There’s a film of it with Selena Gomez as Beezus (her big sister) that dd loves.

Secretly quite proud of myself. I never normally get these things right Grin

Cherry111 · 25/02/2020 21:19

So you should be. You relieved my day of anguish. I could see her face so clearly and was Googling all day. Thank goodness you got it
