Sorry I haven't watched but have a question if you don't mind!!
I used to absolutely love TWD (like literally set alarms for the date a new series was starting and staying up to watch some episodes as they aired early morning) but gave up with it, around the time the whisperers arrived....... is it worth picking up again?

I thought it was a really good episode, although could have done without 'that' scene!

Haven't watched it yet! Seems like a really long mid season break.
Got into Fear the Walking Dead last year and binged watched it all.
@Thegreymethod definitely worth going back to it.

I'm beginning to really dislike Carol ,she doesn't care that her actions lead to other people getting hurt or being killed.
Negan and Alpha scene just gross.

I used to be a massive TWD fan. I started losing interest when the Negan/Saviours blah dragged on for yet another series.

Since the Whisperers started, it has become unrecognisable compared to the earlier series, it's just weird. I still watch it but don't mind if I miss it.

I binge watch series 1-5 regularly on my firestick.

That scene tonight - urgh.

And Alpha's slithering head movement's like a snake get right on my threpnies.

Nospring, I dont know- she's clearly struggling and is hell bent on revenge. I felt for her when she broke down. But yes, her actions have led to this.

I’m trying to watch the mid season premier - it’s 5 mins in and I have no clue what’s going on because they appear to have forgotten to switch any lights on when filming. Ridiculous. Much more and I’ll give up...

Update. 15 mins before I could see anything. Did nobody else have an issue with this odd method of tv making?

Does anyone watch Talking Dead after?
Have now watched the first episode and it was interesting hearing the director talk about how it was made (I had no problem with the lighting), plus an interview with the actors about 'that scene'. He must have stunk something awful after the latrine business and she always looks pretty ripe. And their socks!
I think I missed something last season though because I can't remember why or where Maggie got to.
Looking forward to the Rick Grimes movies - anyone know when they will come out?

It's picked up a bit since the new show runner took over. Actually some drama and character development, though I do not like this Carol development. It's so unCarol. When she flips she never puts other people into danger, no matter how wounded she is. She just drifts away and doesn't do daft things.

I'm so relieved Jerry got out safely. Don't mind if Magma (sp) gets squished as she's a bit of a brat, but I quite like the other girl who's got a small thing going on with Daryl: she's worth digging out, definitely. Can't remember her name.

I'm fascinated to see Negan's plan work out. He's playing a long game and will help bring down the Whisperers, probably getting himself killed as he does. I think he'll do if for the likes of Judith.

Can someone tell me if it’s honestly worth watching? I’ve missed the first half of this season completely.

I once watched this series, but abandoned it. Now I bought the console at switchonshop and thanks to it I started watching the series again. I do not like the new seasons.

This season is a step-up from the previous one or two, I think. But I think its time is almost run. I heard a rumour that s12 will be the last? After a time there are only so many run-ins you can have with other survivor groups. Although mass walkers are still a threat, they're not really an existential threat, as people know how to deal with them and unless they're acted up on maliciously as a weapon and herded together, it's reasonably easy to deal with them. They don't have the intelligence to outfox even a fairly stupid human. A lot of them must also have rotted away by now? Their human food source must have dwindled and there have been some hot summers and cold winters. Everyone knows that any death causes people to turn and can be vigilant when someone looks a bit peaky.

I've just started watching S8 and not sure I have the energy for it anymore. It's lost the character development and I'm not sure it's worth staying with. Anyone think I should stick with it?
