Just seen this on BBC iPlayer, it was released today . Its such a shame they got rid of BBC3, this documentary should be shown on mainstream so more people are aware and get to see it!

Very interesting and I do love a Stacey Dooley documentary!

Oh I love her! Thanks for mentioning this - will definitely watch it.

I agree, it should be shown mainstream, fascinating and sad documentary.

I havent seen it but I would watch it because the topic is interesting....

On another note, I don't think she is very good at her job... she always comes across like she has no clue and out of her depth. -by the way this comment is based on her previous haphazard work on tv !? I hope I am wrong this time...

Watched this today. I was shocked at the age of the MH staff, all really young people. Not sure why it shocked me so much.

Smithtylater · 19/02/2020 19:48

Yes @HowIsMovingBungalow i thought the same...all looked early 20's!

I just watching now. Have to say I’m shocked by the young woman who’s been in hospital 9 months and says she’s never received any therapy. I know that you have to be stable before you can begin to engage in therapy but I’m surprised that therapy isn’t a more integrated part of hospital treatment.

I have,it seen it yet but I qualified as a mental health Nurse at 22 ,this was 20 odd years ago there's usually a mix of ages of staff from early 20,s up to late 50,s
