This is the statement from ITV

Says it’s cancelled tonight Snd will resume tomorrow with a tribute to Caroline.

That seems a reasonable decision. I'm glad they haven't cancelled it altogether.

Agreed. I said earlier that I didnt think Iain would be able to say some jokey one liners under the circumstances. And an extra 24 hrs gives them a chance to work out how to deal with this sensitively and appropriately.

I sense this (Caroline's death) will trigger a seismic change in all things 'celebrity'. I'm not sure why her death is different to others, but it is.

They should just scrap this season on Love Island - give them all £50k and send them home. Hilarity and fun would seem wrong now, Caroline was such a big part of LI.

@FabulouslyElegantTits 100% agree, scrap it and give the prize money to charity. Hopefully it’ll be back in the summer with some hotter boys and more drama!

@SpanishFly, are you having me on? Do they get a choice in who they share a bed with? And then if a one of a 'couple' gets together with someone else, what happens to the bed situation then?

Tits they're horrendous. They make me really stabby.

GorkyMcPorky They sort of bed share at the start - like literally sleeping with at least a foot gap between them. They dont swap beds unless they recouple with someone else. Sometimes someone will sleep on the settee or outside on the daybed thingy, if circumstances suggest sharing a bed isnt really appropriate.
But genuinely, the bed thing isn't really a big deal - it's usually like a pyjama party until there are actual couples involved. I dont know how often people have full sex, but it's not often. Although the series with Terry (series 2) was the worst for it 🙈

They kind of get a choice. You see the show starts with 6 (i think it's 6) people of the same sex going in the villa. It alternates every year. This year the women went in first. They get acquainted and then the presenter comes in. Then they stand next to each other and the presenter starts introducing the boys one at the time.
First boy comes in, the presenter says if any of the girls likes what she sees to step forward, then the guy gets to choose which girl he likes. He can pick whoever he wants. Then next boy comes in, and repeat and repeat.
In the end you have six couples and they will share a bed. Now, if someone gets into an argument or they fancy someone from another couple then they have the choice to sleep on the sofa. There are also beds outside that previous years contestants have used a lot, so no one can actually force you to share a bed if you absolutely don't want to.
Also to add that they have 'recouplings', where you can 'officially' pick someone else to be in a couple with and share a bed.

Luke M is my favourite boy and Siannise is my favourite girl, so no idea who I want to actually win!

I hope it's back tomorrow too. I think Siannise and Luke T deserve to win the most and would also like to see Paige / Fin and Luke M place. I was annoyed with Demi telling Luke M that she wanted to get to know Jaime. Just why?
