It's the last week of Winter Love Island - Sunday 16th Feb.

I'm only just starting the tribute wasn't what I expected and I didn't think it was done the best way can't put my finger on why though. I understand doing it at the beginning but it's given the whole show and odd vibe. Not even half way through though so that might change.

I think the show would have had a bad vibe with or without the tribute. I'm not sure there was a 'best way' to deal with it tbh.

That was obviously Friday's episode. They couldn't ignore the vote so had to show the lead up to it. I'm sure the islanders are wondering why noone left last night.

I forgot to bloody vote because I'm an idiot. Would have voted for Chess. Duke would have been my second choice but Demi grates on me a bit.

I thought the tribute was fine. Iain has one of those voices that lends itself to comedy so it was a bit stilted.

SpanishFly I know made me a bit sad. Thinking it's gone a bit flat overall in there, some right bores. The original thread 8 started off hilarious and now the show and the thread have turned a bit meh. But hey ho anyway thinking Luke and sianesse for the win! Though voted to keep ched and Jess only cos ched is a don 😁

It was odd only having a few comments from Iain, and they all had a sad tone to them. But as I and pp have said, there wasnt a right answer to this. The main issue here is the crew and Iain and Laura being distraught and trying to avoid forcing that onto us and the programme. It's such a difficult one.

I think Natalia blames Luke for making her look bad. So if he'd said, yeah I'm not feeling it either, it's both of us, but worth a shot, we did the right thing, and pulled her ass out the fire, she'd have been happier.

Now it looks like she simply is the bad one, so she's pissed at him. The fact she is is not likely relevant to her.

The other islanders clearly know there is nothing between Jamie and Natalia, as one said, it's more a situation they have been forced onto, rather than they genuinely fancy each other, neither are particularly popular contestants, Jamie as he comes across as a bit of a know it all arse, and Natalia as someone with little to offer, self absorbed and who is just focused on staying in.

I didn't vote though, because genuinely I didn't wish to save any of them and couldn't care less which went first. They all need to go.

They should have sent someone better than Jamie in to cause a bit of drama he's flat as fuck. Natalia isn't a nice person at all always got that look on her face why they chose these bores I don't know.
And going back to donkey comment I would have found that hilarious and had a comeback...pricilla is being way ott over it. But to be fair the girls dramatised it a bit much.
I think Natalia and Jamie and mike n pricilla are at risk.......

Aha, thanks Bluntness ! That makes sense if he wasn't mad keen either but made her do the dirty work and end things so it looked unilateral when he is so well liked (there were a couple of episodes I didnt watch in full- fell asleep!).

Yeah I think Jamie thought he would home in on Shaughna and capitalise on her public popularity a la Greg, what with telling Callum off.

I got the impression Shaughna had learned a bit about her value by that point and would not accept another chancer going on about being good with his hands or filling holes so he's ended up with Natalia. Who to be fair, I think seemed a lot nicer when Jamie apologised for behaving oddly when trying to kiss her.

She genuinely seemed a bit upset by how mechanistic it was.

I feel that with more time Natalia could be an interesting character to open up. She's just come into it too late to really come out of her shell.

I think that Natalia & Jamie slowly started to realise last night how unpopular they are - there was just a resignation & Jamie's face going redder.

Just catching up now but have to go back to work (watching in the cafeteria so skipped the tribute!)

If my oh had done the donkey thing I'd have laughed my head off because a) I love shrek b) I love so key and 3) he knows me well enough to know how I would take it. Was a bit risky that early doors and with princess priscilla.

Glad to see luke didn't fully disclose at the breakfast club, hope he has learnt the lesson that showneeze doesn't like kiss and tell.

I agree that the other girls made a bigger hoo ha out of the Shrek thing than I think Priscilla would have. Mike's just too desperate to be the centre of attention - it was interesting to hear them all day that last night. I don't think those types of things are obvious from the regular programs.

I couldn’t even be bothered to watch properly last night. I don’t know if it’s because of Caroline or because they’re all boring but I don’t think I even watched to the end as I didn’t realise there was a vote!

Natalia reminds me of Dani Sutherland from Home and Away!

Interesting that so many couples said Demi and Luke M are missing a spark. To me they seem more compatible than Molly and Callum but I wonder if what we are seeing is very edited? I'm not surprised Natalia and Jamie are unpopular- they are very boring and stilted.

The babies!! This is why I love LI!! The boys are so good with them. How funny is that - it's always the same. My ovaries are clattering like a dusty old pair of castanets. 💃🏼
