Anyone else watching? I'm finding it interesting

Watched on Catch up. I think Ed fixes it well although I’m slightly confused that he finds normal people in other countries also feel unheard by the urbane middle classes.
The black face Peter was interesting. Bit like men in drag are here - comic entertainment to some, taking the piss by others.

Sorry none of that first sentence makes any sense!

Really enjoying it.

But I do have a long standing crush on him, so a bit biased.

Just watched the Poland and Germany one and the attitudes in Germany are chilling. They are quick to reject the 'Nazi village' thing and I can see why, but on the other hand playing on people's local and economic concerns was precisely how the National Socialists got their foothold.

Bizarre the far right politician who was anti immigration but married a Turkish lady who settled in Germany.

The Nigel Farage of Germany!
I think it's a sort of get-out thing –he can point at his wife and say 'Obviously I'm not racist if I'm married to her.' His daughter, who looked visibly not Aryan, was really worrying; parroting her dad's views and nodding along when he talked about sending people back.
The gay couple who had voted for them were interesting, if very sad; I wouldn't be surprised if they just stopped voting altogether now they feel that both the mainstream parties and AfD have let them down.
