I just started watching this from the beginning

I watched it years ago but not to the end and feel I need to watch the whole thing again!

I loved it and only now that I’ve started again do I remember how good it was!

I didn’t know about Lafayette until last night when I was googling something about one of the other actors. So sad.

I was the same. A few years ago I watched them all from the beginning as I hadn’t watched them all. It does get kind of sillier and sillier, but still a good watch.

Watch it again! It’s definitely better second time around and haven’t even got to Eric yet 😍

It’s quite dark and funny. I like Sookie more than I did the first time around. I remember finding her annoying...

Really loved it too though haven't re-watched. Left me as a very big Alexander Skarsgaard fan! One of the only series which seems to have better reviews then the books on which it's based. It was a very good cast (remember reading about Lafayette's death). I loved Jason (Sookie's brother) he was really funny. I stopped watching when the fairy bits got too much.

He was! From 1997-2002. Joe Mangianello, the werewolf guy was pretty easy on the eye too as I recall. Actually, I really must watch them again! I loved the theme tune too and general hot, Louisiana vibe. Plus I liked Pam, Eric's sidekick. She was cool.

I loved the first series. The first scene (in the store, where the normal man in the queue is the vampire, not the Goths) was amazing! I used to live for the night it was on tv.

But series 2 was never as good, for me. It didn't have that quirky, eerie feeling, but seemed to go more camp, slightly OTT.

Am I wrong? Should I try again?

Yeah, Jason played Vinnie in Home & Away.

I do think it gets sillier and sillier as the seasons go on, but it’s still a good watch. I read the books too. They are a fun read.

Well it’s not realistic obviously but that’s not the point Grin

Got home late last night so didn’t watch any of TV. Just on my way home now, so debating whether to catch up on LI or watch TB

TB is obviously far superior but I won’t know what the memes mean if I don’t watch LI for another night 😂🙈

Really enjoyed the books which were far superior to the TV show imo. The first couple of seasons were pretty good but then it just went downhill pretty rapidly. We gave up towards the end.

What is LI?

I picked up the full series of books at a charity shop for 10 pounds a few years ago. I was very pleased. I like the one with the witches the best. Mostly because I ship Eric and Sookie.

The books were brilliant. They started quite loyally but then went totally in a different direction. I LOVED the books and quite liked the series
