@SleepingStandingUp I agree that Elly should have taken Aster out of the car seat to pretend to jiggle her about and then made a run for it when Finn was in the boat. Would have made running through the woods easier?

Next week looks scary!

SleepingStandingUp · 22/03/2020 16:13

Is it just one episode?

However, Denise also revealed that Neighbours bosses aren't ruling out the possibility of bringing Prue back one day. This is Soapland, after all.

She said: "If you're going to go out, what a way to go – in an explosion! But it's a little bit of a cliffhanger because the producer said to me: 'We don't know if she survived that. We don't know if she was still in the car. She could have escaped or anything could have happened'.

"So we'll have to wait and see."

(from Digital Spy)

Is she on fkg glue? she opened the box, the car blew up, how the fk would she have escaped that??????????

SleepingStandingUp · 23/03/2020 13:09

It's 2025.
Harlow prepares to marry Hendrix. She looks into the mirror to adjust her veil. She sees her mom behind her...

Flashback...

As DVO reaches for the kids, a kangaroo jumps out. She stops reaching and slams on the breaks. She gets out. He boxes her in the head and steaks the car. A few minutes later, DVO hears the car explode.

A van appears, it's propel from the cult who have followed her and take her back to sing in the local bar until hse pays back her debt.

In the day of release, she goes to Erin Borough and sees the wedding banners. Harlow and Hendrix. She rushed to Therese and Paul's...

A small child appears behind DVO. She tells Harlow this is her baby sister, final progeny of Gary Canning. She's called Ladybird.

They hug.

Titles.

@SleepingStandingUp FFS, get yourself over to the spoilers thread.....OMG!!! GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

happilybemused · 23/03/2020 14:16

Aster is the best actor of the lot. She had the whole worried look nailed 😀

LoisWilkersonslastnerve · 23/03/2020 15:05

Deluded Denise bless her. Ladybird Grin

MiddleClassProblem · 23/03/2020 15:15

I have watched that Ladybird film and I’m feeling less and less inclined to...

MiddleClassProblem · 23/03/2020 15:51

Did Susan call her “Asda”?

Clawdy · 23/03/2020 19:11

Any guesses who the third death is? Could be the convict guy. Finn's a bit obvious, and Susan...nooo!

CurbsideProphet · 23/03/2020 19:20

Definitely not Susan - I won't allow it!

KoalasAteMyHomework · 23/03/2020 19:28

I'm guessing Harry.

@SleepingStandingUp I can actually picture that story playing out. Please go pitch it to the neighbours production staff immediately.

SleepingStandingUp · 23/03/2020 19:36

Irial I'm sorry

Koala they so read this thread

I feel a bit lost that there wasn’t one on tonight!

PsychoWiener · 24/03/2020 14:16

Wow, what an episode! My heart broke for Sheila and Kyle. I thought everyone did a really great job!

MonicaGB · 24/03/2020 15:26

I'm confused about today's episode. Should there have been on last night explaining a load of stuff?

MonicaGB · 24/03/2020 15:36

Oh, flashbacks. It's making more sense now.

NymphInYellow · 24/03/2020 17:58

Oh poor Sheila and Kyle Sad

Glad that Paul saved the day (sort of).

But wtf Elly?! Just run!

MiddleClassProblem · 24/03/2020 18:27

Why is Mark on this case?

Why is Harry so surprised Finn wanted to kill everyone one and why was he suddenly bothered by it? The Elly thing seemed like a minute factor when he was talking to police.

I didn’t really like that ep. We’ve a week of tension and build up and it was all over at the beginning. We didn’t even see them get rescued. I also though Finn’s death was lame. If we had some tension build up in that ep before his death it might have worked but there was nothing. Elly was already saving Susan, we knew the others were safe.

KoalasAteMyHomework · 24/03/2020 19:03

Finn's demise was a total anti climax after he ran around setting fire to islands and shooting people with arrows.

Also, opening credits without Gary felt weird Sad

SleepingStandingUp · 24/03/2020 19:23

Agree his death was stoopid.

He slipped backwards and bumped his head and couldn't get up in the morning.
Except he was conscious, so why couldn't he push himself up? And how come it filled so quickly? Didn't drain away?

The Gary stuff is heartbreaking

Also loved Roxys big sister comment - too annoying to die

BreconBeBuggered · 24/03/2020 19:27

I couldn't believe they let Finn drown in that coffin/bath/hole he dug without indulging in a final surge from his watery grave to grab at Elly.

Smidge001 · 24/03/2020 19:37

The finn death was ridiculous, as was the whole elly thing. Why did she go back to him, why did she turn off the water tank (now got her finger prints all over it), why did Finns head suddenly rise up, why did she lift him up further to check his pulse (he was sure to grab her) and why did she then start putting earth on him so her finger prints are all over he shovel. Alll nonsense. Maybe it's so she can go to prison as some sort of exit story. Pointless.

Kyle was great.

CurbsideProphet · 24/03/2020 21:58

I think a struggle over the shovel and Elly hitting Finn accidentally would have made more sense. Though, you know, it's Neighbours 😂
