I enjoyed the match girl episode but the way Henry VIII killed the cook in the Tudor episode has disturbed me. Then his joke about it. 😭
Good programme though. Not watched the third episode yet.

I haven't watched it because I can't stand that arrogant little shit TR, but I might try to ignore him.

The cook who was killed - is that the one Henry had boiled to death (by inches, IIRC) because of his involvement in a poisoning episode (can't remember who the prospective victim was, but have an idea the Boleyns were behind it.

And excellent book that portrays Henry VIII as a right psycho is "The Man on the Donkey"- can't remember the author - but there's none of the sentimentality of Hilary Mantel ("Henry's a good bloke really - just, you know, it isn't easy being king"),. The Henry in there is a really nasty piece of work.
