Did anybody watch this last night? I watched around 40 minutes before finding it too upsetting, the patients just seemed so ill. I just wondered if anybody watched to the end and could tell me what happened to the two people they were trialling it on. did they improve or were cured?

Both passed away I'm afraid. The older guy didn't want any more treatment after the second lot failed, and the young lad's leukemia returned. Heartbreaking.

oh no! how upsetting. I googled but I couldn't find much information about what had happened to them. I wonder if it was because it wasn't positive. heartbreaking.

We watched this, the groundbreaking treatments are developing so there's a lot of hope. Subsequent patients have already benefitted from the bravery of the two amazing guys in the programme.

It was an amazing programme I thought, although upsetting. I so wanted them both to get better. They were such strong characters and faced awful circumstances. I was sad that they both died. That treatment and the Drs are astonishing and the determination of the Drs to find solutions really struck me. I felt such sympathy for both families.
