Just finished watching the whole series. I found Dorothy deeply irritating so it was hard to be sympathetic especially once it was revealed what had happened to Jericho (although was expecting something much worse)

I think Leanne can bring the dead back - baby then dog but has to be present for it to happen and the cult want her back so all their members can be alive again after the ?massacre.

Agree about Dottie! I found both parents pretty awful and irritating, and found myself being sympathetic to Julian towards the end. Rupert Grint pretty good as an American.

I thought the payoffs in the series were too slim and unsatisfying. They really are spinning the season out to get viewership and make money, as opposed to at least completing an arc in one season.

I did like the focus on food and wine, seemed quite original to show gory rabbits, eels, etc. The house setting is also quite atmospheric.

Just finished it last night. Liked the atmosphere of it. Found Dorothy annoying but she played unhinged very well!
A bit annoyed by the ending, I hate first seasons that don’t come to some sort of conclusion.
I would now like a wine cellar though..

Yes the food and Sean losing his taste was really interesting! Did Leanne do that deliberately do you think or is part of her power that she has to take something away for her 'gift' to work ?

Forcing Leanne to taste the food really addded to the horror for me because I'm quite a picky eater and the though of being made to try some of that stuff made me feel sick.

Yes the wine cellar looks great.

And agree about the food. I never thought I'd say the words 'placenta croquembouche' together.

Do you think Uncle George was brought back from the dead? Based on his dirty feet and fingernails.

Oh and about Sean losing his taste (and pain sensors?), no I can't say why.

If the dog was brought back to life by Leanne, what was the 'payment' for that?
