So I am watching this now, and its lightweight and easy to watch.

There's been a wedding, and a funeral, but apart that, I cant see a link with the original film (except rich and posh, but not all of them, and there are 2 American ladies) - which its meant to be linked to. Ok its been a while since I last saw the film, but does anyone know what the link is meant to be?
