Cannot wait for Better Call Saul S5

I am so excited - 23rd February. I think the last season is the best season of anything I’ve ever seen, maybe even better than the last few seasons of The Shield (which is saying something).

Who else is excited? Currently rewatching in the evenings so I’m all caught up :)

I think it’s the best thing that’s currently running. Having rewatched BB last year I actually prefer BCS, the writing is just incredible. And Rhea Seehorn is bloody brilliant.

I've also just re-watched. I'm looking forward to the next series, too.

Really want to know what happened to the relationship Saul/Jimmy had with Kim. I'm hoping that nothing dreadful happened to her, but am also upset at the thought that there was a heartbreak involved.

I have to keep reminding myself that this is a STORY and it isn't REAL . . .

I loved BB and resisted BCS, DD kept telling me to watch it and one weekend when I wasn't feeling great I had a duvet day and started watching it. Love it, can't wait for the new series..

I’ve heard quite a few people say they love BB but haven’t watched BCS which is sad - it is very different I suppose, especially the first series which is quite lighthearted compared to the later seasons.

Kim is such a fantastic character, I am dreading whatever they have in store for her.

I'm another one who wants something lovely for Kim. I found BCS quite hard to get into, I don't think I'd have bothered if my DD hadn't told me the first couple of episodes were a bit slow but well worth carrying on and I'm so glad I did.

How did you feel about Chuck? Everyone I know just hated him but although he was horrible I felt sorry for him, I thought he was such an unhappy character and whatever the parents did they damaged the siblings relationship. There's no happy ending for him or Jimmy.

Was just saying to DH the other day that this is what I love about it - in any other show Jimmy would be the hero, Chuck the villain, Kim would be an idiot who can’t see Jimmy’s faults... they’re all such complex characters and I don’t think any of them are good or bad.

Mostly I hated Chuck but the show managed to make me feel very sad for him on multiple occasions and to understand why he hates Jimmy. Brilliant writing generally.

SinkGirl yes you've summed it up well, they are so real aren't they, nobody is perfect. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who felt sorry for Chuck, everyone here thinks I'm weird.

It’s so beautiful to watch too - I really can’t fault it. I love the prequel aspect because knowing where things will end up lends so much to your experience watching it, and it can afford to move more slowly I think.

That last episode was just so good.

Watching it now . . . . soooooooo satisfying . . . . so glad that I am old and retired and can just watch this when I want and don't have to wait until I come in from work . . .

Just waiting for dinner to cook, then I'm watching it, can't wait.

Also be good to see Hank again.

I have no patience any more thanks to streaming. I am so bloody excited though. BCS is the best thing currently airing IMO, each season gets better (hope I’m not jinxing it!)
