The younger of the two sons of the family looking after the pigs seems like a sweetie!

I'm shocked at my naivety with regards to the mass produced chicken in Holland, I had no idea they could be kept in those conditionsSad

It was sad with the chicken family because the breed of chicken wouldnt have survived in the sanctuary anyway so would always be destined to end up euthanised or on a dinner plate.

I'm watching the second episode now. Haven't eaten meat in years and knew what I was getting into but I know I'll cry if the piggies get sent away😓

I’m vegetarian & have done a lot of reading & watching videos over the years, so I knew what I was letting myself in for.

I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen both episodes yet so I won’t say too much.

But I cried a lot watching the families reactions & attachments etc.

I think the 2/3 year old shouldn’t have been exposed to things she was. Too young to process it and discuss her feelings.

The toddler was out of the room and unaware of the ...reunion though wasn't she?
