Now on its 4th series. On BBC Alba in gaelic with subtitles. Started this evening. A feel good documentary on a young crofter on Lewis. Wonderful scenery, lots of animals and an entrepreneurial crofter. Wonderful stuff. On iplayer.

Ooh I will look that up. I have watched a lovely gardening programme on Alba about a woman gardening and cooking. They have some very interesting programmes on there.

I'm Irish so I like comparing Scots Gaelic to Irish, they are written pretty much the same but sound very different.

It's interesting, he has a younger brother with Downs Syndrome who helps him on the croft and he prefers to speak English

Which did he learn first I wonder. Will have a look!
