Me and DD were taking about food budgets yesterday, she brought up those daft EWFL students and their "lady pasta". We judged, hard.

Love this, thanks. We've done a few recipes from it and they are actually really nice.

Yep same most wks, but I,d watch it. Makes me feal better about my own choices.

Totally understand how this couple have ended up how they are.

I'm watching, I think I must have missed most of the last series, I only remember lady pasta and diabetes man and his wife who put gravy on her takeaway.

Ds2 spent an awful lot of time in hospital over the years and it's really hard to eat well, everything is rushed into you so the more convenient the better, sometimes we had a microwave depending on where we were and then I could heat up decent meals that people brought in for me.

I've just turned it on so I'll be a bit behind

This couple has been through such a lot, my heart goes out to them.

I really feel for this family. It is totally understandable how they ended up here - cannot even imagine how 2 tears in the hospital would have impacted them

2yrs in hospital is a very long time for a prem tho obv had other medical conditions

I think that he will be easy to convert as he seems keen to cook once he gives up breakfast chocolate but I think it will be harder to change her eating habits since she seems stuck on ready made food from the kid's menu with no fruit or veg

I think this might be the first time I've watched this program and actually like the couple! Usually it just frustrates me. Can completely understand why they've fallen into a food rut in their circumstances.

I agree about this too, exactly how my DH was with food, eating no fruit / veg, all mainly because he hates textures of food. He's improved vastly though!
