The bank will have Sonia’s name by 9:00am. The cheque can only have been paid into Sonia’s bank account and only lifted out in cash by her with photo ID. Also for £8k in cash she might also have had to give 24-48hr notice before lifting it.

Nick took her to Dots house when she was small as part of a plan to con Dot out of money. I think he said her mum was dead.
He told Dot the child was called Dotty in his ‘Ma’s’ honour. Dot later found out her real name is Kirsty & her mum is alive.

I’m officially too involved in eastenders! I had a dream about Sonia’s cheque last night! I dreamt her name was actually typed onto the cheque so there could be no confusion about who got the money.

How did she think she wouldn’t get caught?

She hoped Dot would go to Ireland and wouldn’t notice the missing money.
Why is she checking the total anyway? If you had a couple of million, would you notice 8K missing a day after it was taken?

Sonia needs to tell Martin. It’s his problem too. If he thought he was going to prison for leaving a hit and run after doing a robbery, he’d have stolen the 8K from Dot himself. Sonia did it fit him but he knows he is capable and would have done the same if the temptation arose.

There's no way Dot doesn't know who's cheque this was. Why did she call Stuart and not Sonia?

With so much fraud and things these days I tend to check my bank account most days,
Mostly to see if the payments have come out ok and what's left or if my wages are in or whatever. So much easier these days than in the old days when you had to go to the cash machine or in the bank to get a statement.
If I had millions I'd check it hourly! 😊

Talking about holidays. Chantel and grey went to Sardinia in December/January. Who the hell does that. Most places won’t even be open.
