I spend a lot of time in hospital and I've never seen anyone wear the dress uniform that Sonia was wearing?
I'm assuming it is still a thing though?

Some trusts still have the option of dresses but they tend to be hemmed mid shin.

I’m annoyed there’s another blackmail storyline so soon after the Mel and Sharon blackmailing. I just don’t like watching them. Plus the acting was dire!

Ben’s checked coat reminds me a bit of classic used car salesmen (like Danny DeVito in the Matilda film) - maybe that’s the look they’re going for??

I am really impressed by the actor who plays Ben, he is definitely talented in acting. To be able to make people feel sorry for you and hate you at the same time takes some skill.

Louise has also stepped up in acting with this story.

I agree about the blackmailing story with Sonia, I can't help but feel this is going to drag on.

Does anyone else get creeped out by Leo's stare? I keep imagining the music in the shower scene in the movie Psycho when he deeply stares.

I don’t understand why Sonia didn’t just laugh it off about Martin hitting the hospital man. That’s what most people would do, but no she goes full on guilt face and storms off making it known it was him! Stupid

Ben is brilliant. Another fan after an initial not sure! Best actor in it although Linda is doing a fairly passable impression of a drunk too.

Yes Lisa said she's saying all sorts about you killing off Keanu and then Phil came round to talk to her later and said she's telling the truth but you can't tell anyone or Peggy won't just have lost her rat of a father, her whole family - me and Ben and Louise will be behind bars.

I suppose she will steal it. She has already tried to steal from Dot although the story never said why she needed the money.

If she asks Dot for the money now, Dot will assume it was Sonia who tried to steal it already. All three of them live with Dot who has bought her house outright now and sitting on millions so she is hardly charging them rent? Bex didn’t go to uni so no expenses there. Martin bought Bex’s car with cash though why she couldn’t have just shared Sonia’s car is baffling.

Maybe she will tell Martin who will have to go back to the criminal world to raise the money or Martin will try to blackmail Ben saying it was his fault anyway and if Martin is going down then he is too....?

Martin being with Sonia and making his lie to Stacey come true is a bit odd. As soon as Stacey reappears, Martin will go everything to win her back. Poor Sonia is getting embroiled in crime for a man who will leave her the moment Stacey decides to take him back.

RE the bloke who Martin ran over.. Would the Hospital be allowed to divulge info about Sonia's personal life.
Also last time I checked black mailing carries a custodial sentence. If Martins going down surely he and Sonia would make sure he's going down as well by reporting him for black mailing. Isn't he shooting himself in the foot.

I think the man said he asked Sonia’s colleagues because he was suspicious.
But.....Sonia told Martin the man was on a different ward in the hospital she worked in. She went int and pretended she was taking over from another nurse and asked him questions about the accident. Nurses work shifts and change regularly so why would the man have found it suspicious that he hadn’t seen Sonia before.
And it wasn’t Sonia’s regular ward and hospitals have hundreds of staff so how on earth would the nurses on that ward know about Sonia’s personal life?

I thought sonia was a nurse on the geriatric wards ? How is she getting away with talking to him? Anybody else not feeling Sonia and Martin being back to gether Martin looks like he can't be arsed.
