Written by the same people who did The Play That Goes Wrong - bloody brilliant. Simple, silly fun and not at all long.

Expect to cringe a bit at first, but let it pass Grin

Agreed. Great Christmas comedy.

Turns out it's a 6 part series!

We've just watched it again with DS1 who was watching a film & missed it when it was on - we all laughed like drains. Even DS, who's a young teen and eye rolls at most things loved it.
Lots of gags we'd missed the first time too.

Very excited that this is a series!!
Although that means they might not tour the live show for a while. We've promised to take the kids if they do - I actually hurt from laughing for 2 hours Smile

We loved this - the whole family did.

We went to see The Play that Goes Wrong and I've never laughed so much. Simple, slapstick fun. Must have been rehearsed to death!!

Brilliant show. We were crying laughing. We've just seen Peter Pan Goes Wrong and I ached for days afterwards Grin

I don’t understand it. It all seems so obvious and cheesy.

It's supposed to be an amateur dramatics company with ideas of grandeur but none of the actual skills to pull it off so things 'go wrong'. Having done am dram it's practically a documentary Grin

We've just seen Peter Pan Goes Wrong

Did you go to the Ally Pally?

iklboo · 28/12/2019 13:12

No at the Lowry in Salford. It was brilliant.

DH and I want to see TPtGW next time it tours, and eldest DS will probably join us after seeing TGWS.

Watched it with 15yo ds.

I laughed a lot. He absolutely loved it and laughed like a drain. I'm glad it's a series.
