Anyone been watching it? dh loves it, too much effing and geoffing for me, even if it is based on a true story...what do you think?

I watched it last week. Agree about the swearing, found it a bit OTT (we sound like total prudes don't we?!) I love Westerns and thought I would really like it but I didn't bother watching this week. How come Deadwood was such a hit in the States, yet Firefly (Joss Whedon's post-Buffy and Angel offering) was cancelled? That was effing brilliant

Pass, some people just don't know whats good and what's not, should we take over reviews? lol - love angel and buffy though....

Didn't you watch Firefly? You should - it's really, really good (and has the lovely baddy preacher man from the final series of Buffy in it - yum)

I didn't know you got Deadwood over there!!! My DH loved it too! I don't know if I have gotten over the f'ing either. They had this chinese guy cursing like crazy too, Mother F ing everything--it was like an oxymoron. But it does suck you in, doesn't it? I adore Six Feet Under. Now we have a new show called Rescue me, it is excellent, set in the Fire House. Has anyone been able to see it there? Nip Tuck makes me crazy too, like watching a car accident, but I can't control myself!

Love Nip/Tuck sunchowder. Same reasons as you - just can't help it! Don't watch Deadwood and we don't have Rescue Me yet I don't think.
