It’s a hard watch.

I know many many good nurses (and lots of student ones)... But it was nurses like the one in that who led to me having PTSD after a hospital stay - this is really hard to watch and I wouldn't have been able to a few years ago.

Absolutely horrific , I worked three years in critical care . I spent shifts sitting with dying patients and their families . I couldn’t live with myself if I left a patient and their family like that . How the fuck do you get to a state where you drop a patient (!!!) - enough to lead to heart failure ?! - my manager, nurse of 35 years, would have had me out the door in minutes .

Just couldn’t believe what I was watching . We had horrendous days, horrible shifts but never said a cross word to a patient or relative - or indeed each other . I can’t believe anyone could become so burnt out or be so bloody callous that they could talk to a relative like that .

That guy was going to drink the water out of the flower vase.

Just too many other things to list..................appalling.
