So the Emmerdale coincidence-a-thon rolls on with Nate's mum just happening to be the one who nearly runs Moira over.
With a bit of luck she will take him away permanently fat chance

The minute I saw her I knew she'd be Nates mum, she looked like she was going to kill him when she heard what he'd done

Old head Gabby was given story lines that were too much for her age I always thought, but then new Gabby looked about ten years older than her when she arrived.

Wonder will Cara find an empty office in the village and relocate, more than likely, she'll be with David or Marlon by Easter if past episodes are anything to go by.

I've been reading an interview with Susan Cookson.

"Susan confirmed that she always knew Wendy would be an Emmerdale regular when she joined the cast last summer.
She said: "I knew how it was going to play out, and that it'd be a very slow start. I was told they couldn't do any kind of press launch on me being part of the cast, because it would give it away."

I just don't get why they want this character hanging around. Surely it has to lead to something else.

Why the hell are they making Leyla be some sort of nanny/second parent to Theo?? Even David said “your priority is Theo now isn’t it” why?? Why the fuck would her priority be Theo? He is the child of the woman that sexually abused her son!

I was shocked by that too Wire. They have a really twisted thing going on where victims of sexual abuse/rape and their families are being forced to accede to others demands - Vic having to put up with Wendy moving to the village and interfering in her life, Aaron being forced to hold Harry and Leyla having to co-parent Theo. It's disturbing.

Something else is getting on my nerves now. Empty cups.
Every time anyone has a hot beverage in Emmerdale the cup/mug is so obviously empty. Then they pretend to drink.

Oh and Pollard risking the shop’s licence to sell alcohol (and endangering a customer’s life) by selling alcohol to a clearly intoxicated Moira.

Also- have we completed the bingo card of all Cain’s exes now in the village? Charity, cara, Amy, Moira (mother’s of his children) Kerry. Who else? There was a teenage olly and her mother years ago but not sure what happened to them. Perhaps we’ll find out in a few months

Its funny- all Cain’s exes are magnetically drawn to live near him. All Moira’s are either dead or hate her!

Is the baby genuinely David’s? I saw the episode where he said to the doctor to make sure the dna test said that the baby was his, but I missed a couple after it so not sure if he is genuinely his?

I was wondering this? Was the DNA test only to find out if the baby was Jacob's or not? Or did David and Jacob both get tested?

David gave the paperwork to the social worker so presumably if it was just one to rule out Jacob then they would come back to sort it out. As this is Emmerdale though...

The actress who plays Wendy played Tanya in Early Doors, she was so good in that, shame it finished after two series, very funny
