I was thinking that too when I saw Ross on The Chase - not just a pretty face either.

There were only 2 decent looking men on Emmerdale - Ross and Frank (I am older) and now they've both gone and no sign of any decent looking men to replace them

Talent is seriously lacking in Emmerdale, only Cain to drool over. Classic Emmerdale has Dave Glover, Biff and Nick.

I'm breaking my ban to say that Wendy ringing Bob to get Luke and Vic together is absolutely disgusting. Vic told them she wasn't ready for a relationship. Emmerdale are censoring comments on a Twitter post of Wendy they put up. Every single comment was negative and they deleted them all but people are carrying on posting their disgust at the storyline. I hope their downtime gives them a chance to review the shambles they've made of this story.

That’s really bad!! They need a real shake up during this break period. It’s turned into a total shitshow and the above confirms just how far off track they are.

I've just realised they didn't delete the comments. Unbelievably they have two different posts featuring Wendy in the last few days. The first got loads of complaints so two days later they put another up to which there's less replies but still all were complaints.

I wonder why the Dingles never mention Ben? They talk about Butch every now and then but never Ben. Both of them were Zak's sons and died so why do they only remember that one of them existed?

I think Ben was only in the show very briefly so people won’t have had much of a connection with him whereas butch was in for years and developed quite a sweet character.

I think when Emmerdale comes back they should start over from April 2019, cancel that night out and pretend the whole year never happened. We can then have Frank and Robert back and Nate wouldn't be there so Cain and Moira can still together and Wendy wouldn't exist.

Every storyline is so far fetched

dont they have cameras in police interview rooms now? Or did malone somehow turn that off too? He seems to have the whole of the police station in his pocket.

It's driving me mad to be honest, it's Emmerdale not a bloody gangster drama.

And who cares about Belle and Jamie really, god she's such a sour puss.

I know they do research stuff but it's slipshod - so many errors in police procedure even if you suspend sufficient disbelief to allow for the bent cop to have so many officers on his side.

I too dislike this type of storyline. The strength of our soaps is their ability to reflect everyday life. It's lazy and betrays a lack of imagination when writers have to resort to sensationalism rather than engaging us with people stories.

And where is Aaron while all this is going on in his house? My hope is that Swirling will bring about the downfall of Malone and get promoted to sergeant
