I don’t really understand what was happening with Cain and Liam at the bar. Why was Liam telling Cain he was only here they sausage rolls? Is he trying to strike up a bromance with Cain?

They've had a few scenes like that now and it's just the unlikeliness of those two being friends that makes me laugh.

I like the idea of Cain and Liam being friends. Not best buddies but I think it could work in a weird way.

As if both Paddy and Chas would "forget" the social worker was coming!!

Prediction: belle and Andrea both get pregnant at the same time. Jamie urges belle to terminate. She refuses as she had one before and doesn’t want to go through it again, she’s also not sure if it’s Jamie’s or Ellis’. Andrea meanwhile over the moon after losing last baby. Belle keeps hers, tells everyone its ellis’, Andrea loses her baby, belle’s is born and clearly not Ellis’ baby, truth outs and Andrea devastated that Jamie has a baby with belle.

I don't mind Dan when he's doing comedy and I was enjoying him with Mandy and now they go and do this! I wish Vanessa would announce in the pub what Kerry did.

I’d forgotten all about Vanessa. No mention of her this week. They dump a cancer storyline on her then nothing. On to the next disaster. Now it’s going to be VERY SERIOUS for Dan. For 2 weeks. Then forgotten about.

I'm waiting for the episode where Belle pees on a stick, looks at it and hides it where absolutely anyone can find it, I've also noticed she's been to the Debbie school of how to look miserable all the time.

Liam should finally tell Lianna to grow the feck up and cop on.

I just know I'm going to lose interest in the Dan story pretty damn quick.

All soaps are guilty of this but I swear Emmerdale's the worst. Whenever anyone's in an accident or in hospital, someone always says, 'They're going to be fine, I promise' or words to that effect. YOU DON'T KNOW THAT.

And here we are again with Dan surrounded by paramedics and Kerry telling the child, 'He'll be fine, don't worry.' On top of that, they've always previously sworn to tell no more lies to children. It also happened with Marlon and his heart attack last week; instructing Paddy not to tell April, again after a 'no more lies' episode when he was in the nick.

Ahem. Anyway. It was nice to have a bit of relief from the Victoria [aka Action Man] storyline, though Wendy featured elsewhere. Can one dare to hope that it was her tablets that caused the allergic reaction? Must admit I thought when she handed them over that it was an unlikely thing for a health worker to do.

I hoped it was as well Telling but I didn't mention it because I'm on a self-imposed ban of the W word. It's my coping mechanism for that terrible terrible storyline!
