Emmerdale is the kind of village where you couldn't fart without it being reported to all and sundry so I'm afraid the idea that vile Pierce can creep around the village and sneak into Rhona's house unnoticed is a complete pile of pish.

I think Victoria’s and the rest of the villagers’ acceptance of any of lukes family anywhere near the village is bonkers. They know what luke did and what Wendy did to Victoria too. What she’s still doing- her very presence in the village is for the sole purpose of being able to see the child with total disregard for what that does to Victoria. Any woman with an ounce of decency or awareness would know that was a step too far- no matter how much you wanted to see the child. Victoria has had no choice but to either leave her home village where she has grown up or accept them there and be nice or else her own life becomes a big angry ball of nasty feelings. They’ve put her in an horrendous situation and I think it’s pretty disgusting of the emmerdale writers to do this when it’s something as serious as rape. Women are already conditioned to be nice to abusers- just be nice and quiet and don’t make a fuss and here we have emmerdale reinforcing that. It’s disgarceful.

The only way I will accept it is if it's leading to something but after the Rebecca bullshit I have no faith that it is.
