Kathy! I remember starting to watch emmerdale when Kathy and Rachel were friends. I can’t remember if Kathy was still with Chris. I do remember her being with biff. And viv and Vic creating the cafe in their back living room.

I always found it funny (and felt a bit mean) that Malandra was so named because her dad was Malcolm and her Mum Sandra.

Is that why?? did they not fancy “sancolm”? I know a girl who was named in the same way but it created a pretty normal name anyway so she isn’t too scarred.

I think the producers/scriptwriters are hoping Kim’s exit was all too long ago for us to remember too much or question anything. I do remember she was on trial for stealing an expensive horse and she let her second husband take the fall, then hit Chris over the head to stop him taking evidence to the police. According to the Emmerdale Wiki fan site, she stole £190k from Chris before she went on the run. She also inherited half of Home Farm from Frank, but couldn’t have sold it whilst on the run, so I don’t know how she got so much money considering she now seems to be a multi-millionairess.

It confuses me that home farm has had several owners since Kim left 20 year ago yet she still owned it when she reappeared a year or so ago? Did joe ever actually own it or not really? Was Waterhouse his company or Kim’s? It’s confusing. Graham contacted Waterhouse a week or so ago so I’m guessing it’s not Kim’s company or she would be in the loop of whatever he was arranging.

As I understood it, Joe Tate, posing as Tom Waterhouse, ‘bought’ Home Farm from the White family; however, this was a front and Kim was actually the one who had bought it.

After Kim left originally, Stella Jones bought Home Farm and it was later owned by Lady Tara. Zoe bought it back from the Tates but sold it to the Kings before she left.

So when Joe bought it- did he know Kim was funding him/the purchase? Or where did he think the money was coming from.

I think he knew, yes.

I hate when they keep repeating the same episode from different perspectives. Will be glad when this week is over.
