Well, Limewire are not really the ones to be trusted.

Most prosecution has been for music. You are probably pretty safe with tv episodes, especially as time goes on and they start showing them really soon after the US air dates.

But if you are unsafe with anything, it's stuff like Limewire.

Dh uses peer guardian which means you can't be tracked when downloading torrents. He downloads things from torrent sites. Torrents can slow your browsing down but it depends on your router and torrent settings.

i do use ares and torrents, but have used limewire before and never really had any probs, but i honestly only download for my own use and occasionally for family members

Well, PeerGurdian will help, but it doesn't make you completely safe.
