I've just finished watching the series, and I absolutely loved it. Would really recommend - it's on Sky Atlantic (I think!)

Totally agree , fantastic acting and a good combination of both amusing and sad parts , my dd cried over the baby camel ( shes 20) . I’ve not really seen much of Tim Minchin before but he’s excellent .

Oh yes, the camel part was lovely. I sobbed at the final episode too. I really liked the actors, and thought Tim Minchin was excellent (I didn't know much about him either, other than he wrote Matilda the Musical).

Isn’t it great. Very immersive. Usually I get up to empty the dishwasher or browse on my phone but I love it. Not got to the end but almost need a spoiler to know they’ll be okay!

Not only did I cry over the dead baby camel but I'm really worried about the other camel being left in the bush on its own. Not finished the series yet though. It is extremely well done and a very different sort of story.

We watched the lot over 2 sittings on a weekend because we were going away on the Monday and had to know what happened .

Wallabyone · 11/12/2019 15:07

I watched the final episode again last night and cried a bit more. The music is gorgeous.
