I don’t cry often when a famous person dies but I’m devastated and in tears this morning over the news that Caroll Spinney died yesterday at the age of 85. 
What an incredible man! He was Big Bird and Oscar from the start up until last year. He was on more episodes of Sesame Street than any other cast member, giving 50 years of his life to the show!
If you haven’t seen the documentary about him yet I highly recommend it! It’s called ‘I Am Big Bird’
