Grin Yes you're probably right there re his fitness. - I'm just wondering if/hoping someone else might have more "in the tank" as they say Grin

I hope Kim does manage to come back.

I can't believe the questions they get asked at times Grin
Domi adopts penguin

Raahh · 18/01/2020 14:17

Poor Dom! What were they thinking? Has he ever expressed a need for a penguin?

Grin
PrivateSpidey · 18/01/2020 14:31

Grin he's quite into the ocean and whatnot isn't he?!

But why would he need to meet the actual penguin?!

In other major tennis news Tomas has finished his Lego.

Yes well done Tomas Grin

Can’t believe the AO starts tomorrow - I think Djok might be playing at about 9am tomorrow and Rafa sometime on Tuesday (I could have got that wrong - I think I was looking at uk times)

I’m still a bit confused about Domi and the penguin Confused

PrivateSpidey · 19/01/2020 18:40

Just noticed the charity match Rafa, Djok, Osaka and co played the other day is being shown on Eurosport at 8pm tonight (followed by the Luge European championships - starring Dzumhur no doubt Grin) then real live tennis just before midnight.

Not that I'll be staying up late tonight (in theory anyway), but will tune in tomorrow morning...

Happy birthday to the lovely Stefan Edberg!

My phone still automatically brings up 'Stefan' after 'lovely' Grin

JaneJeffer · 19/01/2020 19:25

I'm loving Judy's Instagram. Andy keeps replying to her posts and they're so funny.

This is a couple of Scottish fans she posted Grin

Grin I saw that one Jane - so funny.

And the one where he told her off because the photos Judy posted weren't showing up properly Grin

Was that the mandarin/oranges one? I loved that one Grin

Give him his due, his banter with his mum is very good.

JaneJeffer · 19/01/2020 19:42

Yes and then she posted the poster from Wolf of Wall St. which mentions orgasms and Andy said he wished she had cropped that one Grin

Fizzywinegum · 19/01/2020 20:05

Poor Andy - I wonder if he will ever get to play back at the top level Sad

PrivateSpidey · 19/01/2020 20:42

Haha I didn't see the Wolf of wall Street post Grin

It must be rough on him not being in Aus, and he's out of those European indoor tournaments as well isn't he.

But apparently Bob Bryan has been asked his verdict, and he thinks Andy will be ok! I hope Bob is actually being asked about himself as well, and not just being inundated with questions about Andy!

Hello & help please!

Aussie Open!

I'm confused about watching this! Anyone else? I understand it's available on Eurosport Player. And that you can subscribe on amazon Prime. But when I click the link for Eurosport player on amazon it gets lots of bad reviews saying people have paid & subscribed but it's not clear how to access it. I looked a week or so ago and thought I understood. Anyone else?

Tia!

tobee · 19/01/2020 21:28

PS there are two many platforms for all this! Too many subscriptions and too much to sign in & pay for!

Fizzywinegum · 19/01/2020 21:44

Hello tobee I think the AO is available on Eurosport so if you have Sky etc it should be available on that channel.

If you have Amazon Prime the AO matches should just be on there if you subscribe to it it - hope that helps - it is all a bit confusing.

tobee · 19/01/2020 21:51

Ooh thanks Fizzy! I've managed to do it! Grinit's quite a palaver! I downloaded the app on amazon firestick. I then went to Eurosport player on internet, subscribed and then paid £4.99 for the month. Then I reopened the app on my fire stick and signed in! Checking it worked and I've got Bingham v Carter playing snooker right now! Not quite the same physical specimens and fluorescent sporty attire on tanned bods you get at the tennis! Grin

tobee · 19/01/2020 21:53

Really I'd prefer to be listening on 5 extra, wish they'd do more coverage. But my sleep pattern is all over the place atm so I thought I'd go for it!

PrivateSpidey · 19/01/2020 21:55

Hi tobee Smile

Yes you can get Eurosport player through Amazon, although I've never used it so I don't know what it's like quality-wise. I've only watched the main Eurosport channel through Sky, as Fizzy said.

I know the Amazon prime coverage has got a lot better since it had loads of bad reviews, so maybe it's the same for Eurosport player as well?!

I completely agree though, there are far too many channels/"platforms" for tennis, all of variable quality Hmm it's really annoying for fans.

Hope you can work something out so you can watch. We'll be here chatting throughout, so the more the merrier!
