I can’t believe that Rafa is playing in the doubles - he looked dead on his feet - in his post match interview he said that he needed to sleep.

I don’t understand the doubles - some seem to be payed and some seem to get cancelled even though the tie has already been won.

I need to get some stuff done - wonder what time Rafa will be on tomorrow? Oh yes please no repeat of last years AO final - that was awful

I’m going to see Knives Out later - did you see it Spidey? Not sure if I’ll be able to cope with Daniel Craig’s weird accent (I’ll just have to imagine him in his Speedos! )

So it looks like Feli and Carrena Busta are playing the doubles- and they still haven't got Carrena Busta a red top .

Well at least Rafa isn't playing doubles. I missed the end of the singles, as I had to go out to pick DS up, but Rafa was 4-1 up when I left so I thought it was safe to leave!

I think Djok has pulled out of Adelaide.

Fizzy enjoy Knives Out - I loved it. DC's accent was weird at first but once you get used to it, it's ok. I thought he was great in it - well, they all were.

I'm not surprised to hear about Djok, he has played a lot this week and it would be a lot to expect in the week before a slam. Tbh, I was surprised they got so far in this competition, Serbia, I struggle to name any other Serbian players apart from Lajovic, although when I looked there are actually quite a few.

Yes, that's what I was thinking as well Raahh - I think Lajovic beat Khachanov didn't he? Pretty good result for the him..

Spain have had lots of late finishes, it really has been rough on them- and they have to play tomorrow.

Hopefully Rafa is fast asleep .

he probably has to get up in an hour to start his next match!

I have just had a look and it would appear that Djok and Rafa are scheduled to play second tomorrow, so at about 9am. Ish.

Well, we survived it over Christmas. Just about. We have run out of meatballs now though. I refuse to go all the way back just to get some more .

Yes the food is definitely one of the main reasons for going! I like the cinnamon bun things. We are officially going for "Lego storage" . Yes more of it

I wouldn't mind but the Lego will just end up scattered all over the floor anyway and the storage will be empty!

I remember the days when Ds had lego everywhere. You aren't a parent until you have stood on a lego piece in the middle of the night and sworn loudly, really.

We had a pass to the discovery centre near the Trafford centre - it wasn't quite Windsor , but we used to go a lot when the dc were little. I could sit and have a coffee for hours whilst they wandered around in a big pit of lego.

It's a shame they had to grow out of it .

Some people only have Lego to keep them occupied these days...

I was thinking, when walking the dog, of all the players who have retired this year actually. This was when I realised I could name loads of Spanish players, and very few Serbs.

I really enjoyed Knives Out Spidey - Daniel Craig’s accent wasn’t too distracting. I think I’ve peaked too early though and want to go to bed now!

9am tomorrow is a good time for me - more chance of getting control of the telly at that time.

Tomas' Lego set looks quite advanced! Bit of a step up from Harry Potter sets (DS' latest craze).

Jane / Raahh we've just been watching Toy Story 3 - so that and all this talk of outgrowing Lego has made me quite emosh!!

Glad you enjoyed Knives Out Fizzy - apparently DC's suits were tailor made for him for the film. Which nearly made up for the lack of Speedos I thought he looked great. As did Captain America

I'm wondering if all this tennis those 2 are playing so close to the start of the Aus Open gives Fed or maybe one of the "younger gen" a better chance in Melbourne.

Or maybe it'll make no difference at all, knowing those two - they're probably still the favourites.

Yes Spidey I thought DC looked pretty good. I’m not a Marvel fan so get a bit mixed up between Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans but knew it wasn’t Chris Hemsworth because he didn’t look like Karen khachanov (I do learn things on this thread!)

I can’t say that I’m really looking forward to watching Rafa v Djok tomorrow - not sure if it will open things up for other players in Melbourne - we will see.

Fizzy yes there seem to be loads of Chrises in Marvel - but I didn't know until this thread that there was more than one Hemsworth! I just can't keep up

I can't really see an outsider winning in Melbourne either... I was just pondering really!...

I wonder how tomorrow will pan out? Spain to win I think, but whether Djok beats Rafa or not... Too hard to call.

Well done RBA! So pleased for him- I know Rafa has played a lot, but RBA has probably played better , and been a big part of why they are in the final. I do like him- like I said, very level headed, and seems like a really lovely bloke, plus everything he has had going on for him, it must be a great way to start the year.
