I admit to having referred him to him as Kelviteer on here, sorry (although I also called him Kelvis following his jive)
You are right that politics shouldn't have anything to do with dance, although it made it hard for me to embrace Ann Widdicombe and to a certain extent Sean Spicer's recent dwts appearance.
The issue I had was Kelvin erasing his pro-Brexit tweets deliberately in a bid not to isolate the audience...that, to me, was more weasely and disingenuous than him holding his views which he has a right to have whether they adversely affect me or not. It showed a tactic and insincerity that annoys me as much as DVT's sitting on a chair or Emma claiming she couldn't dance/nerves/was never expecting a ten, to go far etc Just own it will you. Own your previous dance experience, own your tweets (Roman Kemp deleted some of his and apologised for them pre Jungle - no idea what he had said but clearly he saw himself potentially going the way of Jack Maynard).
I can put some ill advised tweets down to youth or naivety but putting out political leanings and tweets when you are 32 means you cannot use the youth excuse - and backtracking/not standing by what you post or tweet says much about a person's character.
I will be amazed if Kelvin loses though if he makes the final. All he has to do is pull off a decent charleston and samba and it's his for the taking.

I see the seamstresses only had one fabric this week : Karim's trouser's Anton's jacket and now Gorka's shirt.

I really don't want Emma and Anton to win. Emma is decent and seems like a nice down to earth person but I just don't find her very interesting to watch. I think Anton is a tosser as well these days. I don't like Kelvin but love Oti, I really like Karim and Amy but the public apparently don't. I love Chris and Karen but he just doesn't deserve to win at all. Not sure I'm too bothered about the final now...
