It's really good! Deffo worth a watch

DD (3) is obsessed. DP is pissed off because she thinks it’s a weird and fairly dark interpretation of the Santa story but I don’t mind it.

There is darkness to it but then it turns to light :)

Yes I agree, started off a bit bleak and slow but then I worked out what was going on, then we all loved it.

I put it on while wrapping presents, then abandoned wrapping to watch it properly with a cup of tea. It's a glorious little film! Such a lovely take on the Santa story. Lots of chuckles, a few tears and loads of heart.

Watched it this morning! Fantastic film - I was crying at the end and DH got a little misty eyed too.

Yeah, @fixitupchappie I did think it was a bit too dark for kids. well, the first half... So that's not very helpful!

I am looking for a Christmas film to watch with an elderly family member and our youth adult DCs... this sounds like it might fit the bill?

We loved it. Watched it the first day it was on and my kids have played it quite a few times since.

Yeh is say so @RockingMyFiftiesNot you might think "what the hell" in the first twenty mins but stick with it. Main character is funny !
