Am I too much of a wuss to watch You?

Heard great things about You on Netflix but I am useless with anything remotely scary.

For context, Stranger Things scared me (I only watched the first season), I couldn't finish Luther, I lost sleep over Line of Duty.... you get the picture.

Blood and gore doesn't bother me so much but I don't enjoy being psychologically frightened or being made to jump.

So, is it scary? Is it jumpy? Will I ever sleep again? Shall I stick to comedy?

It’s not scary, more creepy.

There are very few gory bits. As in like 2 things that'll be scary for you. The rest is like a cat and mouse game which is creepy as a PP said!

You'll be fine. It's great!

It’s more creepy than scary. My DP watched it and didn’t think it was scary. Just stupid. So, I suppose watching It with different eyes and being a man changes your perspective.

Is there another "You" than the one I am thinking of?

The one I am thinking of is about a bookstore owner who develops a fixation on a female customer.

If so, then not scary at all.

Also agree not scary, and I’m super jumpy! It’s rubbish though, you’ll be wishing something gory would happen to every character by the end!

This was a great series - I’ve just binge watched it. Series 2 starts on Boxing Day.

If it's what I'm thinking of - not at all scary.
