I can't remember if they mentioned this on ITT, I can understand AJ not wanting to do it tbh.
Brings it back to the point of wondering how much say the pros have in any of the dances, music and themes..

I would LOVE a series where the pros choose all the dances and music, would be great to see the contrast. Or maybe they'd choose naff music too

Did anyone get annoyed with Katya's hyperactivity and huge ego doing the record thing on ITT? The fact she has come 4th for 2 years running meant nothing to her at all SHE HAS TO WIN IT

I’m not really getting the pro challenge this year, so far no one seems to have put any energy into it all claiming quality over quantity...er, it’s a world record,! It’s almost as if they are not taking it seriously 😉

I say let AJ be the new JJ. He’s pretty enough already.

does seem a bit unfair to me. Ringerkarim seems to get the dances he likes.

i feel fed up with the ringers. I want a fun show where people learn to dance. not where a ringer can show off.

I'm sure that Kelvin's family are used to those types of jokes as he said his mum and brother were in on the joke too so I wouldn't be making a serious thing out of it at all.

If your whole career is based on going all out and winning at something it must be very hard to tone it down, whatever you’re competing in

I completely agree with this. Some of the comments on some of the pros (eg. Amy, Janette, AJ) refer to grit / determination / being pushy etc but for me, the professionals are excellent at what they do. They don’t win champion titles & competitions being mediocre so their drive and “winning” mindset is instilled in them.

Regardless of this competition being more about entertainment, any pro will want to win it. There’s nothing wrong with that in my eyes, as long as the celeb’s objectives are also to win.

I went on about steely determanation etc there is nothing wrong with wanti ng to win I just think it is funny how they are sweet and fluffy and then "the look" sets in and you realise they would step over their wheeled out Nan to win

Thanks to all who answered my question about AJ on ITT. I seem to have opened a can of worms! It would almost have been worth wasting 10 mins of my life to watch him getting stroppy I'm afraid I've never liked him and I'm not going to start now! Also, he seems to look younger every year and he looked about 12 years old when he started

Talking of Nicole Cutler, did I hear Rylan say she is doing Choreography Corner tonight? She'd left by the time I started watching, so I'll be interested to see what she's like.

Re the Kelvin wind up, I did do a sharp intake of breath when he was telling the story but none of us know if this is par for the course in the Fletcher family, so who are we to judge? I don't think he needs to apologise or offer an explanation on national tv!
Although, I do like Claudia's idea of his dad doing the t&cs on Saturday, without telling Kelvin, of course

AJ on RuPauls Drag Race was GAS. Viv is this massive Scouser and wee crossfaced AJ kept barking "WRONNNG!" at her from about the level of her armpits. I thought there was going to be a scrap! 😂

I don’t think it’s a bad thing that folk want to be top of their game. You do need determination for that. And I admire it.

I’m just not sure I want to see such seriousness on a Saturday night entertainment programme. A bit of pissy is fine - but I don’t want upset looking celebrities feeling like they’ve let their pro down and that the world is ending. And being terrified of going back in the dance studio because there are a bunch of granny corpses in there

Strictly Come Dancing started off as pure comedy, joy and light hearted entertainment. Just a spoof and a jolly good one.

Now it's taken soooooo seriously all the fun has gone.
