I don't know many people with learning disabilities, so this was a bit of an eye-opener for me.

It was great learning about these young people being supported in independent living, but a couple of bits left me feeling a bit uncomfortable (such as the prurience about the couple's sexual relationship).

I also noticed how often the young person's feelings weren't validated by a parent or support worker. Is that a deliberate strategy that's judged to be more helpful?

Yes I watched it! Do you mean when Jade was upset and she said don't cry? She did give her a cuddle

I can see why you'd worry about Curtis he's so forward and loving with everyone. Which of course is lovely but not always appropriate

It looked like a nice community

It was interesting when Joe decided not to increase the stays. It seemed to me that he did it cos he didn't believe he'd go to football still and he couldn't handle the change re the football more than anything

I don't think that there was an excessive focus on their sexual relationship (had to look up what purience means!)
