Ooh whatever happened to Leona Lewis?? She had a nice voice but the faux “I’m so sweet and I have no idea how good I am” schtick was annoying.

Poor Vinnie has probably shot himself in the foot there, he’ll probably have gained some fans having tried to be a gentleman and now he’ll be stuck on the show til the final.

He’s probably seen all the social media comments and is well aware both that he can’t sing and that several contestants who genuinely could have been kicked off and want to try and distance himself from the car crash of a show.

I've just watched this. Vinnie's singing has ruined my Sunday afternoon. That Irish ballad was shocking!

Last week was an absolute farce....Cowell pretty much humiliated Jones. So arrogant. Jones can't sing and should have been allowed to leave.

Fading I agree. I think he very genuinley wanted to leave- I've not been a fan of his style, but he had clearly given it as much as he wanted to.
Usually I would say things like that were a set up, but Simon's pissed -off ness at Vinnie trying to take over (despite all the rule changes Cowell has made), was very real.

(At least it looked it to me- but to be honest- Simon always looks a bit cross ).

Yes Raahh he looked mad as hell. There's a way of saying things and for Jones to be slapped down on TV when he was only trying to be nice and supportive to Kevin made for horrible viewing. Cowell couldn't being relegated that way.
