beelover · 16/11/2019 21:44

I am.

Questionsmorequestions · 16/11/2019 21:45

It is appalling, I. Can’t believe that they didn’t submit the questions before. Emily M seems to deferential. How can he not remember so many major happenings?

baggies · 16/11/2019 21:46

Why would you stay at someone's house and be guest of honour at a dinner party when you've come to break off a friendship.

Hepzibar · 16/11/2019 21:47

It's weird isn't it.

He seems genuine but the situations he describe are unbelievable

OP posts:
beelover · 16/11/2019 21:52

I don't think he seems genuine at all and as for all the lapses of memory, all far too convenient.

Cora1942 · 16/11/2019 21:54

I find it bizarre, is he genuine , I dont know , he is certainly uncomfortable.

joystir59 · 16/11/2019 21:55

Lying misogynistic fucker

RockysMa · 16/11/2019 22:22

God it was cringe to watch. Hes a fucking bad liar.

Cuppaand2biscuits · 16/11/2019 23:24

He's a liar, he looks like he's lying.
I know someone who used to work for him and she told me about 5 years ago that he had a thing for young blonde girls.

KurriKawari · 16/11/2019 23:27

He seems genuine?!!

NormanSmith · 16/11/2019 23:29

Genuine??? Wtaf?

Sarcelle · 16/11/2019 23:29

He is so honourable, we'll be the judge.

So honourable he can't just block a former friend convicted as a sex offender, to say goodbye he stays in his home for 4 days.

He has thrown the kitchen sink at this. Honourable, unable to sweat (wtf?) due to serving in the navy in the Falklands, family guy taking his kids to Pizza Express, the situation playing on his mental health, all his work which he could not articulate.....

Mmm, bullshit, your maj.

Not a hint of feeling for the trafficked young girls.

FoldyRoll · 16/11/2019 23:39

Not seen the whole thing, just highlights on the news. He's lying. His body language gives it away. E. g "do you regret you friendship with Epstien?" his mouth says yes but he's shaking his head thoroughout. "did you have sex with that girl?" says no whilst nodding.
He's a really bad liar.

JemimaTab · 17/11/2019 00:03

How can he not remember so many major happenings?

But remembers a trip to Pizza Express in 2001 ...

Mummyonline · 17/11/2019 02:24

He was always referred to as Randy Andy when I was growing up, so how would that have changed?
Also he kept on going on how he wouldn't do all sorts of things as he is in the Royal Family including showing signs of public affection. Many photos of him over the years show the contrary.
Also, his BS about how he only wears formal clothes in London, so that the photo of him with the alleged young girl must be false - WTF? He isn't wearing a tracksuit, he's wearing trousers and a white shirt. Could have easily taken off jacket and tie previously. I do not think we've seen the end of this...

Ninlil · 17/11/2019 03:02

Oh dear god I've just cringed all the way through this. Couldn't be more convinced that he is lying now. The fake looks of shock on his face as if he is hearing things for the first time yet knows all about the bone in in Epstein's neck from the coroner's report!

And the contradiction about that photo, how does he know that it was taken upstairs in GM's house if he's never seen the upstairs of GM's house.

I bet he's sweating now

PositiveVibez · 17/11/2019 08:11

He seems genuine

Really????!!!!!! He seems like an absolute fucking LIAR to me.

Hepzibar · 17/11/2019 11:13

Disclaimer: I'd drunk too much wine.

In the cold light of day - it was very creepy. Whatever his motives for doing this (probably to put the peasants back in their place), it has backfired spectacularly.

You would think the royals would have learned the lesson from the Charles and Diana interviews!

OP posts:
NewName73 · 17/11/2019 11:15

Plenty of other threads on this if you want to get into a detailed discussion about it...

Christmastree43 · 18/11/2019 15:25

@Ninlil

OMG the fake look of shock when she said about the orgy with seven other women! And one answer would be I can't remember/ recall, then the next would start with 'our detailed investigations into this show...'

I think it was actually a great interview as it showed how many holes are in his ridiculous arguments/ qualified denials, and that was his best bloody shot at it!

x2boys · 18/11/2019 16:17

Just watched this on you tube wether he did anything improper or not that interview did him no favours , he contradicted himself all the way through ,they were not good friends, but h flys all the way to New York to break.up.their friendhip.and than stay,s with him for several.days as it was convenient , he's a member of the royal family I doubt money is tight he could stay anywhere , than he is a guest of honour at a dinner party of Jeffrey Epstein,s ,why the hell 'did he think the interview would be a good idea ?Confused

LillianGish · 18/11/2019 18:55

The interview is a masterpiece - Emily Maitlis just let him incriminate himself. Her face says it all. She lulls him into a false sense of security by not interrupting and appearing to be letting him have his say - right up to the very last moment where she asks him if he feels there's anything that hasn't been covered. It's the perfect illustration of why people on trial are often advised not to take the stand in their own defence. The fact that he agreed to do it in the first place tells you everything you need to know about him - a flat out refusal to take advice from anyone and an unshakeable sense of entitlement.

Moomin8 · 18/11/2019 19:51

He's disgusting. And guilty as hell. Anyone who defends him should be ashamed of themselves.

dogsdinnerlady · 18/11/2019 19:51

Has something happened to all the other posts?

Screamqueenz · 18/11/2019 22:55

Just watching on iplayer, wow, just wow.

Anyone think he's been told not to mention Ms Maxwell by name? "his girlfriend".
