I was just thinking, all that long time about Sheanu they were saying "Phil will go spare and kill Ken if he finds out!" there's no element of surprise that he did go spare and kill Ken. In the end it wasn't very tense. The bit where it looked like Phil might forgive Sharon lasted about 2 seconds, and even the bit with Lou setting up Ken didn't last long!

You've probably discussed this already but I hope there's going to be a bit more of a point to Kirsty in the new year.

The scenes with Martin and Sonia were so annoying - there is no chemistry between them at all and for her to act like she's always loved him is such a pile of re-writing history crap. The whole Martin storyline is junk - total change of character when he could have just been honest with Stacy in the first place.

Hate the Mitchell's so really hope they get their comeuppance.

This Christmas on EE has been up and down really.
Big build up to Phil finding the truth ; then a filler episode last night and a few plot holes.
Linda didn't even ask if Ollie was ok without his mum being around on Xmas day and a few things haven't been explained.
Karen seems to have given up on her son and Martin would never go back to Sonia given their troubled past.
I'll stick with it as I still have some hope that ken is ok after all , or his found and Martin goes to prison.
Dee and Patrick falling out isn't good either.
It's been really miserable, not even a few funny bits to break up the gloom!
They usually do have a few light hearted bits but this year it's been on a downer all round.
Only happy one is Kathy on the Sherry!

We were as shocked as Sharon when he said he was 19 last year. I thought he was about 23 or 24 at least.
Still a big age gap. So funny when he suggested they run off to Australia and she could ' get a job in a bar' like someone half her age probably could. She wasn't impressed.

Loving watching Classic Eastenders in unison with this Eastenders. Sharon has just got married to Grant and Phil's quite a jolly chap. Pat has just met Shirl in her previous incarnation as Mandy Salter's mother. Kathy and Ian haven't changed really apart from Ian's somewhat larger now.

A lot of the "teens" are a lot older than the parts they play. How old is Bernadette supposed to be? Younger than Keanu and Keegan, so about 16? She's well into her 20s. Keegan isn't a teenager either.

Although by employing actors old enough to have left school to play younger kids, it's probably easier from a legal/education point of view.

I was wondering Linda's bashed some bloke with her shoe heel? But I don't even want to think about that possible storyline tbh.

PS I keep getting confused as to whether Adam Woodyat is still using a prosthetic tummy for Ian? He does marathons and loses weight for that I think?
