I must admit, Eastenders is usually my least fave of the 3 main soaps - don't do Hollyoaks - but at present it is the best.

Hasn't the former fantastic female producer - think her name is Kate Oates or similar - who was previously with both Corrie and Emmerdale now moved to Eastenders? If I'm right it certainly shows!

Ruby might be an interesting character yet. I don’t like though the feminist side being portrayed as a ‘statement’ ie PSA in the usual EE way when they could just normalise her to highlight the change in views due to their ages. At least the fun loving Ruby who entered EE as a fun loving career socialiser is coming back.

Who are they going to get to kill Keanu? I think they will blackmail Martin but it will be Louise who kills him. She has twigged it but surely has no proof it is anything but an idea.

Merry Christmas all 🎄. I think tonight's episode is going to be a good one. I think a murder of a main character on Christmas Day would be too far even for EE so I'm predicting Gray will help smuggle Keanu out of the country - there's obviously no future for Keanu in the square now that Phil knows about his affair with Sharon.

I really hope they don't kill Keanu - id like him and Louise to go off and live happily together. I like the idea of them being with Lisa in the Villa in Portugal far away from Phil but doubt that'll happen. I hope if Phil does get to keanu, then Karen goes all supermum on him and beats the shit out of him for messing with her son! Here's hoping! I really hate Phil's character - there's nothing to him. Was loving seeing Ben with Callum and showing more to his character than just bad boy. Hope they rekindle that and make him a nicer person.

Wrt Ruby. I wondered if her new persona and deciding to have an open relationship is to do with taking back control of her sexuality after being raped.
