Yes I wasn’t expecting too much from Rafa after the first match but he’s played some good tennis since then and ended as no 1 which I think did mean a lot to him.

I’d like to see Thiem win - he deserves the recognition. It was a nice speech from Zverev - Catherine Whitaker was implying that he wasn’t always so humble

I wonder if Catherine was getting at Sascha being a bit huffy in press conferences and saying he CBA to answer questions etc because he's already been asked them, or whatever. They quite often mention that on the podcast. I don't know really. He always seems nice enough to me.

And you do have to take into consideration he probably doesn't have much time for press because of all his chores etc

PS Raahh The Mistletoe Inn was on Christmas 24 this morning - the one about the writers' retreat - it's a good one.

There was a lot of scarf wearing - to be fair, is it even a Christmas film if the characters don't wear tartan scarves in at least 90% of the scenes?!

We are watching Arthur Christmas- again. I usually save it for nearer Christmas, but DD2 likes it, and we are stuck in again whilst she has more medication for her stomach.

I have warned her the tv is mine from 2.
