Really clever concept and I love the idea of dancing with someone you've never met before but each knowing the routine perfectly - so romantic....

Oh my goodness, I found this so moving! I'd seen the trailers but didn't fancy it. But I saw it accidentally tonight and it was lovely! Big smile on my face. I particularly loved the 2 gay guys tonight. They were amazing. I can't wait to see this again. X

Really love this programme. The two gay guys seemed well suited.

I felt quite angry at the girl who didn't turn up for the date. I get that there was no initial spark or attraction for her but she could have at least turned up and see if she felt anything for him actually talking with him. If she is waiting for "love at first sight" she may well be waiting a long time.

Really pleased that at the end it said he has met someone

I think the guy probably had a lucky escape. Ruby seems selfish and immature.

She must have know that anyone taking part in the show has had problems/difficulties with relationships and that her rejection of him would make him feel like shit.

What a horrible girl. Also IS SHE BLIND?? He’s bloody lovely. A hunky dog lover with a sensitive side.... if I were 20 years younger I’d be tracking him down.

To be fair to her she had also had a shit time in the past what with her hips, end of ballet career and her ex walking out on her...I guess it left her very anxious, although it may have manifested as something that seemed standoffish.
Shame cause they really did look lovely together...

It really was her loss. The dance was so lovely i felt crushed that she didn't feel the same as him so I can only imagine how her felt. Luckily the other couple had a happy ending to cheer me up. I wonder if dh and I could pretend we'd never met and apply for the show?

@fruitpastille was thinking the same thing but as he's reluctant to dance in all circumstances I really don't think he'd go for it

I cried last week too at this programme. I think it absolutely crystallises the wonderful fresh potential of a new connection in a deeply romantic way. It’s such a sweet programme.

I’ve just watched the celebrity version. I’m no fan of CN but even her dance made me tearful.
