Surprised to recognise the lovely Plasturton Avenue and Plasturton Park in Cardiff as the setting for the slash that led to another world.

DS used to have a flat on that road and now lives a few streets away in Pontcanna, where we were watching to night.

I was enjoying the adaptation already, but this touch was cream in my coffee. Off to bed now to read another chapter of The Secret Commonwealth.

Thank you, SurpriseSpaDay - new to this and didn't find that thread. We're all blase in our house about spotting the Poldark locations and often watched filming in Charlestown, but the Cardiff location was a thrill. It's a beautiful street and DS's fff flat looked out into one of the central row of trees. Real rus in urbe stuff. I wonder how long they had to wait for it to rain and then stop raining?!
