Just about to ...

I watched Series 1 and liked it. I wouldn't say I loved it but my teenage daughter did. I think the main girl in it is a bit disconcerting as the actress seems to old for the role and in the trailers, that seems even more so. But I think I can put that behind me.

Watched it this week and really enjoyed it. Such a nice change to watch unusual characters and an unpredictable story.

Just finished it. Really enjoyed the first series but the second was just ok imo. I'm like this with a lot of second series though, there's always too much baggage.

It still had good humour, and I liked the ending, just didn't get as much out of it.

I read a review that said the existence of the second series diluted the perfection of the first, which I understand, however, I really enjoyed the second series. I think Alex and Jessica are excellent actors and they developed their characters sympathetically to move them on from the first series.

Absolutely loved it.

I was sceptical that it needed a second series but I am a convert now. Showing the social and emotional fallout of their actions was great. Small roles were well handled too - especially the pharmacist - "I'm a feminist. I get it" - and the cop.

Watched it with DP and the elder teens, all of whom thoroughly enjoyed it.

I hadn't seen the first series (as usual- I have form for this!!).

I really liked Bonnie!

desperatehousewife21 · 13/11/2019 13:57

I really liked it and think it was just as strong as the first series.
I love how non- specific it is re what era it’s meant to be as all the cars/ houses are so unique and they look old like 1960s but then their clothes are more modern it’s a bit like the Netflix series sex education they did the same thing.

I laughed out loud at ‘it’s like a paste’ in the last episode Grin

Hope there’s another series.

I watched season 1 and loved it, so different, refreshing and quirky. Just finished season 2 last night. Sad it's finished. Such great characters.

I didn’t enjoy it as much as the first, but am going back to rewatch the 1st as I’ve forgotten a lot of it.
