Just watched "Tell me who I am" on Netflix ?
It's about a twin who has a motorcycle accident, ends up in a coma and wakes up with no memory apart from who is twin brother is.

The twin brother recreates a happy childhood when in fact they were both horribly abused by their mother.

It's left me with so many questions.
I wish the brother had told his brother the truth when he came out of his coma and not created this false happiness and effectively let his mother get away with her abuse of her children.
So sad.

There is a thread on it www.mumsnet.com/Talk/streamed_tv/3722193-tell-me-who-i-am It was such a difficult watch. I understand completely why his brother never told him, though it seemed that deep down he had a realisation that something was wrong, hence his repeated attempts to ask. Lots of unanswered questions (the other siblings for example) and I wondered if he hadn't been deliberately reckless on his bike when he had the accident.

Ahh thanks @LittleLebowski I didn't see the other thread.
I too wondered if he had caused his motorbike accident ☹️
There were other siblings ? I completely missed that ?!
So so sad, it has stayed with me all day.
I looked at my children earlier and felt such sadness for those little boys childhoods. Heartbreaking.
Will check out the other thread, thanks.

I watched this today and thought it was brilliant and so well made.

One thing that doesn't make sense though is that all the abuse details that marcus revealed at the end were in the book and were discussed in interviews etc promoting the book back in 2013 so surely alex was aware of these before the documentary was filmed, or was it filmed at the same time as they were writing the book?
