Did anyone else watch this series on Monday nights?

A couple of things - the last episode every fare evader was from a BAME background, which I thought was a little unfair.
I find myself totally siding with the fare evaders as the inspectors are so totally unlikeable. It’s almost as if they are on a power trip. Especially the youngish guy on the buses and the middle aged blonde woman (who literally stole £5 from someone in the last episode) on the tube. The way they speak to them is ridiculously rude, and I felt for the people who genuinely couldn’t afford travel.

She didn't 'steal' £5. The person hadn't paid their fare and then refused to give their details and did a runner but not before pressing the £5 more in her hand.

I've been glued to this series. I love seeing criminals get caught, fare dodgers are disgusting.

I don't imagine they started off that rude ,but day after day of pathetic excuses and people expecting a free ride would take their toll on anyone's courtesy level .

Just because you don't like the inspectors why would you take the side of the thief? That doesn't make sense.

I didn't find the inspectors rude at all.

Some people will try anything to get out of paying for things that everyone else has to pay.

With regards to the £5. They guy hadn't paid for his journey so the £5 would have covered it.

Fare Dodgers deserve everything they get.

Everyone has to pay extra because of these fare dodgers. They deserve everything they get. The lady who took the £5 used it to pay for his fare that he hadn't paid. If they can't afford to travel then they shouldn't be travelling.

Love this series and like everyone except the OP, I am NOT on the side of the fare dodgers!!! Bunch of lowlifes that don't give a toss about cheating the system. I am in total awe at how the technology is able to be used to crack down on these dishonest passengers, it's amazing how they can marry up a fraudulent transaction with CCTV. Makes you wonder how many £millions have been lost to fare dodgers in the past.
