Outlander season 2 question

So I've just started outlander season 2 where it shows Claire's going back to the 1940s and Jamie's died back in the 1700's. Then she lands in America with frank to start a new life. Soo basically that shows us how it's going to end ? She will never live out her days with Jamie ? The rest of the episodes in the 1700's will just basically be flashbacks?

If this is true I am so angry lol I hate being shown the ending before the END ruins everything for me literally don't want to watch it anymore !! Mommy time is ruined and I won't be able to guess how it's going to end lol mehhh

There are a few flips back and forth in the story. Don't give up. You have not seen the "ending" - would be a bit pointless as there are already 5 series and effectively 9 books.

Hold out for Series 3 episode called "A. Malcolm". One of my 2 favourite episodes of all.
