Is anybody watching?

I don't always get a chance to watch these documentaries. But whenever I do my thoughts are always, how the hell do they get so close?

And then the answer to my question was shown at the end. I have the utmost respect for the camera crew. It must be an uneven mix on a day to day basis of really exciting and extremely boring to have a gig like this. And the smell of being amongst all those animals bleurgh.

But it's brilliant TV.

Yes!

The albatross made me cry....

I was shouting at the TV during the albatross segment.

I got so stressed watching the penguin and leopard seal, and then with the albatross. I'm glad we record it so I can fast forward through the unpleasant bits.

Brilliant TV though.

Can't believe there's not more posts on this. I started watching on catch up the previous week and the cinematography is just breathtaking.

There are some uncomfortable moments, mainly when a predator gets its prey. Have a look at the Asia episode, I was taken aback at one point, but it was so brilliantly done.
