Rush job.

I'm going to miss tonight's programme as we're out, so will either watch when we get in, or watch tomorrow morning.

I didn't see anything untoward between Emma and Anton although I have noticed that he seems very subdued this year.

Starbucks or no Starbucks, KFG was the right person to stand in for Neil. They are close and have been competing since they were children. KFG is a technically more competent dancer than pissy Gorka even if he doesn't possess half the sex appeal as him.

I do think it's a bit unfair that Kevin gets a second chance essentially BUT it's about what is good for Alex and chopping and changing partners every week and pairing her up with a bloke she's likely never even spoken to would be unfair to her at this point in the competition.

Gorka stood in for Brenda a few years ago after he was out with Tameka though, so it would be unfair to have a go at KFG for having a second chance.
I see it as KFG helping a mate out and they're both comfortable with him.

Thanks Horsemad, must be fairly serious to keep him out for this long - a tear maybe. I hope not Achilles. They’re usually pretty determined to power through to the detriment of their own health so I imagine it must be bad.

When he talked about it happening on ITT it did sound awfully like a ruptured Achilles, but he said he'll be back on Monday so I presume it isn't.

The BBC won't risk him being injured long-term from it, especially as his entire livelihood is based on dancing. I presume he can't sue them, but they definitely won't want to let him damage it any further.

Shirley's surgeon said she'd be absolutely fine to sit in a chair and hold up a number :)

I know a lot of people dislike Shirley, but she's a trooper I'll give her that. She's tough as old boots I reckon, and has probably had to be to be so succesful in the ballroom/latin world.

Sit on a chair and hold a number I know she is hardly down pit but she will be tender, I would stay home be out my tree on painkillers and just watch it on the telly if it was me.

I never thought I'd say this as I'm not a Kevin fan at all, but I'm glad he's back as I really can't stand Neil. There's just nothing genuine about Neil - really don't like him & whilst I appreciate he's a world champion, I also don't like watching him dance.

Totally agree about Emma Bs eyes - they are so intense! I hope she is enjoying it & Anton isn't ruining the experience for her.

What's the reason for her removing the implants? Wondering why she's done it now rather than when the series had finished unless it's a medical emergency?

I’m wondering if Anton’s a bit subdued this year because it’s his last... which could be why they gave him Emma, in the hope he’ll replicate his success with Katie D and get to the final again. Maybe even... gasp ... win.

Could be barking up the wrong tree, but his apparent desolation could be because he now realised it’s not going to happen with no chemistry between him and E and her giving him actressy evils with her headlamp eyes

If there is a vacancy in the judges, I really hope Anton doesn't get the job as he also annoys me a lot!

Invisible, she has a family history of BC and implants can mask symptoms, so she decided on removal.

@InvisibleWomenMustBeRead what makes you think Neil isn't genuine? You should follow his Instagram for a bit. He comes across as very down to earth and genuine to me. I'm sure I read here that mner went to one of his and Katya's lessons a while back and that he was very fun.

I haven’t heard anything about Anton leaving; just wondering if there’ll be an announcement towards the end of the series, as happened with Ola and Brendan.

I thought there were reports at the start of this series about Craig leaving to concentrate on his wine business..? Did I dream that?

@xsquared I've never liked Neil, no particular reason but he just doesn't come across as genuine to me & seems so full of himself, which I don't like!

@Bluffinwithmymuffin I'll keep my fingers crossed you're wrong & Craig doesn't go anywhere as he's the only truly honest judge!

I'd really miss Craig if he left. ☹️
